I am passionate about helping people with trauma find peace! Depression, anxiety and other symptoms often accompany trauma. I have a wealth of life experience that enables me to understand and empathize with my clients, helping them to then communicate with me. My primary goal is to connect with my clients and build a strong therapeutic relationship.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has advanced training and is certified as an EMDR therapist. I also have training in Brainspotting, Emotionally Focused (Couples) Therapy, and Internal Family Systems (Ego State work). In addition, I use Cognitive Therapy.
I work with complex trauma, dissociation, recent traumatic events, attachment issues, couples and those experiencing grief. Most people see rapid improvement in symptoms. If you are interested in understanding more about any of the above therapies give me a call and I can give you a quick summary.
