Biography
I love walking with families through challenging stages and experiences. I focus on relationship issues, infidelity, trauma, depression, anxiety, body positivity, infertility, postpartum issues, parenthood transitions, and the challenges of family life. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, having an Advanced Training Certificate from PSI for maternal mental health, Level 2 trained Gottman Therapist, and have a Certificate in Child and Adolescent Well-being from Rutgers University. My therapeutic approach incorporates CBT, DBT, SFT for all clients; play therapy for minors; Gottman Method, EFT, Imago Therapy for couples; and IFS, CPT and trauma-informed care for those in need. We provide out of network therapy services, and submit claims for clients (different from most OON providers). We accept most insurance plans, such as- Aetna, Meritain, UMR, Continental, Cigna, Anthem, Empire, United Healthcare, Optum, Oxford, Medicare, Oscar, 1199 plans, most BCBS, and Horizon PPO. We are not currently accepting clients with Horizon Managed Care plans (see here: www.bit.ly/49FchRZ). We are not able to submit claims for NJ Family Care, Medicaid or Tricare Plans.
