Short Description
Therapy is about getting to the root of what’s keeping you stuck and changing it, not just managing your symptoms. I work with individuals and couples in Utah who are dealing with depression, marriage struggles, and addiction, including pornography use. A lot of the people I work with are trying to live in alignment with their values but feel caught in cycles of shame, disconnection, or frustration. My focus is helping you break those patterns and make you and your relationships stronger.
My approach is direct, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based therapy like CBT, but more importantly, it’s centered on connection. Most of the issues people come in with—addiction, conflict, loss of trust—are rooted in disconnection from yourself, your spouse, or your sense of purpose. Real progress comes from understanding and changing what’s driving the behavior.
I grew up in Utah and understand the culture, expectations, and values that shape a lot of the challenges people face here. Many of my clients come from an LDS background or are working through faith-related questions, marriage strain, or addiction in that context. I take a no-nonsense approach to helping you move forward with less shame, more clarity, and real tools that work in your actual life.
I work with teens, adults, and couples, offering both in-person and telehealth sessions across Utah County. If you’re ready to get out of the cycle you’ve been stuck in and build something better, we’ll work on that together.
