“Men [and women] are, that they might have JOY” (2 Nephi 2:25). In order to have JOY, you must have healthy relationships with Jesus, Others, and Yourself. I address all three of those relationships throughout the course of therapy. I primarily take an Emotionally Focused approach to counseling which focuses on becoming fully aware of our emotions and what drives them while deepening our connection with others. I enjoy working with individuals and couples facing relationship challenges, including pornography addiction and betrayal trauma. I also utilize Brainspotting, which is a powerful therapy used to resolve and treat trauma, anxiety, depression, and other challenges.
