I received a M.S. degree in Marriage Family Therapy from Brigham Young University in 1978 and have been licensed in the State of California continuously since 1982. My continuing education is done at the Ackerman Institute in New York City;  Harvard University Dept. of Psychiatry, Boston, MA. Adjunct training with the following organizations: Milton Erickson Foundation; Psychotherapy Networker conferences & CAMFT trainings.  In my practice, I use work from John Gottman, Terry Real, Attachment Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy & communication/conflict management skills.
