Short Description
Therapy is about getting to the root of what’s keeping you stuck and changing it, not just managing your symptoms. I work with individuals and couples in Utah who are dealing with depression, marriage struggles, and addiction, including pornography use. A lot of the people I work with are trying to live in alignment with their values but feel caught in cycles of shame, disconnection, or frustration. My focus is helping you break those patterns and make you and your relationships stronger.
My approach is direct, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based therapy like CBT, but more importantly, it’s centered on connection. Most of the issues people come in with—addiction, conflict, loss of trust—are rooted in disconnection from yourself, your spouse, or your sense of purpose. Real progress comes from understanding and changing what’s driving the behavior.
I grew up in Utah and understand the culture, expectations, and values that shape a lot of the challenges people face here. Many of my clients come from an LDS background or are working through faith-related questions, marriage strain, or addiction in that context. I take a no-nonsense approach to helping you move forward with less shame, more clarity, and real tools that work in your actual life.
I work with teens, adults, and couples, offering both in-person and telehealth sessions across Utah County. If you’re ready to get out of the cycle you’ve been stuck in and build something better, we’ll work on that together.

Short Description
Therapy isn’t just about talking through problems. It's not just about supporting you while you struggle. It’s about real healing, personal growth, and breaking patterns that keep you stuck. With over 26 years of experience, I help individuals work through eating disorders, anxiety, trauma, depression, sexual addictions, and much more using practical, evidence-based approaches that lead to lasting change. I work with many clients who want therapy that respects their values and beliefs, including those navigating faith-related challenges or striving to live in alignment with their standards.
My approach is collaborative and centered on connection. Lasting change comes from understanding yourself, strengthening your relationships, and learning how to respond differently when things get hard. Whether you’re caught in cycles of shame around food, feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, or working through addiction, I provide a space where you can be honest, feel understood, and move forward with clarity and purpose.
I earned my master’s degree in social work from Brigham Young University, and over the years I’ve worked with individuals and families across a wide range of challenges. Many of my clients come through LDS Family Services referrals or are looking for a therapist who understands the cultural and spiritual context they’re coming from. My focus is always the same: meet you where you are and help you move toward something better.
Outside of therapy, I value the same things I encourage in my clients. I try to practice balance, growth, and meaningful connection. I grew up in Salt Lake City and Las Vegas. I love scuba diving, mountain biking, and creating miniatures for Dungeons & Dragons. I believe change is always possible, and that with the right support, you can build a life that feels grounded, aligned, and fulfilling.
I am licensed in Utah, Virginia, and Idaho.
