Gold Counseling launched in June 2018 as Debee Gold’s “Act II” after working for nearly two decades in community mental health, where she helped build school-based services, community learning centers, and Utah’s clubhouse model. She founded Gold Counseling to deliver care grounded in three principles: “we are terminally human,” “we each have value,” and “we all have a purpose-driven life, no matter our circumstance.” Since then, the team has grown to four Utah locations and now serves clients via telehealth in Arizona, Idaho, Nevada, Florida, and New York.

We view each client as the expert of their own life, making them active partners in creating their treatment plan. Our therapists are highly trained specialists who participate in up to three hours of clinical education each week. This ongoing training ensures they stay current with the most effective, evidence-based therapy methods. By combining client-centered collaboration with cutting-edge clinical expertise, we deliver care that is both personal and proven.
