Counselor Profiles in LDS CAPA

I'm an LCSW and member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints specializing in anxiety and life transitions with young adults throughout California. I have a particular heart for the unique experiences of LDS young adults — mission prep and homecoming, faith questions, identity, relationships, school, and everything in between. My approach is warm, collaborative, and evidence-based, and I am a proud LGBTQ+ ally. Every person is welcome here, exactly as they are. I accept Kaiser NorCal insurance plans (commercial and medi-cal), Aetna, Anthem, and Cigna. My private pay rate is $150.

As a licensed professional counselor, I provide individual and family counseling for adolescents and adults.  I have experience addressing a variety of issues, including depression, generalized anxiety, social anxiety, OCD, stress management, anger management, ADHD, and other related challenges.  I use a variety of tools, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), existential therapy, play therapy, mindfulness, communication/assertiveness training, and other methods, depending on the individual client's needs.  My goal is to help every client I work with to achieve their full potential.
